CAP Ceilings & Partitions Ltd and local businesses support children to make healthy choices

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that generously supported our Charity Golf Day at Woodbury Park Golf Club, Exeter on Thursday 5th July 2018. To our wonderful teams who contributed so much to the success of the day and to our supporters who kindly donated prizes for the winning teams, raffle and auction lots.

Life Education Wessex rely very much on the generosity and support of the local community to help raise vital funds to support our work with Devon’s children. Thank you to the local businesses, VP Plc, Encon, St Austell, Rockfon, Fine-Film Ltd, James Pryce Tractors Ltd, Westward Joinery, Armstrong, SIG, Nash Consultancy, Jewsons Tiverton and Minster Insulation, who sponsored holes and to Heavitree Brewery who kindly donated the Cider Tree. A massive Thank You to CAP Ceilings & Partitions Ltd who sponsored the ‘hole in one’ competition and for their valued sponsorship and support which enabled us to ensure that the day was a great fundraising success. We would also like to thank everyone who contributed to the Silent Auction, Raffle and Prizes; Devon Contractors, Gye Dibben, Woodbury Park Golf Club, Knightshayes, Hartnoll Hotel, Glenn Oakes, Stuart Line Cruises, The Diving Centre, Mark Hurst, Exeter Golf and Country Club, Delta Force, Tiverton Golf Club, Torquay Golf Club, Exeter Cookery School, Devon Railway Centre, Bickleigh Mill, Deer Park Country House Hotel, Exeter City Football Club, Forest, SIG and Northcott Beaton. Congratulations to Nash Consultancy with 101 points BB9, our Devon Charity Golf Day 2018 Champions (pictured above), runners up Palmer Construction with 101 points and in third place ‘Woodman Construction with 96 points’. Well done to you all!

Well done also to Matt Searle who won the ‘Straightest Drive’, Tim Durrant, Chris Penberthy and Les Christiansen who got ‘Nearest the Pin’ and Dan Webb who won ‘Longest Drive’.

A great day was had by all and most importantly with your support and Barclays generous match funding we managed to raise £12,109.54. This will help us continue our work providing vital health, wellbeing and drug education to Devon’s children, helping them to keep safe, healthy and happy.
