Over £24,000 raised at our Devon Charity Golf Day

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who generously supported our Charity Golf Day at Woodbury Park Golf Club, Exeter on Friday 21st July. To our wonderful teams who contributed so much to the success of the day and to our supporters who kindly donated prizes for the winning teams, fabulous raffle prizes, and auction lots.

Thank You to Michael Spiers Jewellers for the kind donation of the TAG Heuer Watch which raised lots of interest on the day. We would also like to thank the Lead Sponsors Minster, British Gypsum and Knauf, major hole sponsors SIG & CCF, hole sponsor Nevill Long, and to Heavitree Brewery and St Austell Brewery who kindly donated the refreshments.

A massive Thank You to our partner of the golf day CAP Ceilings & Partitions Ltd for their valued sponsorship and support which enabled us to ensure that the day was a great fundraising success. Chris Bentley was a magnificent MC & Auctioneer who really entertained the guests and raised the bidding during the auction. Our guest speaker John Hartson was superb and really contributed to the evening with great answers to all questions thrown at him.

We would also like to thank everyone who sponsored holes and contributed to the Auctions, Raffle and Prizes. Not forgetting our wonderful Volunteers, Gemma Retter, Dan Spencer, Dave Hills, Fiona Lovell & Wayne Moore and all the staff at CAP, and last but by no means least, Gary Rice, Kevin Smith, Aston Mills and Bill Darke for all their hard work in securing prizes/setting up the day – we could not have done it without you!
